This is a before and after photo of our turkeys. I said we never ate any of our chicken, our turkeys were another story. The turkeys were OK, but I like chickens much better.
This is my dad and I pointing to a name on the Pennsylvania memorial at Gettysburg. The name is that of one of our relatives that fought there. My family has a military tradition going back to the American revolution when one of my relatives got shot in the head, AND LIVED!!! . (Actually farther than that, one of my relatives built, armed and supplied an armada that was a major factor in an european war) My Grand father's brother died in the battle of the bulge. My dad went to Vietnam and my uncle maned one of the Nike missile bases around Pittsburgh.
My dad in front of the Statue of Liberty. This was the trip we went up the World Trade Center Towers. I'm glad I got to do that, sorry I didn't get any pictures of it. (late 80's)
